文化十一年十二月二十八日、抽斎は始て藩主津軽寧親（やすちか）に謁した。寧親は五十歳、抽斎の父允成は五十一歳、抽斎自己は十歳の時である。父允成（ただしげ）は経芸（けいげい）文章を教えることにも、家業の医学を授けることにも、頗（すこぶ）る早く意を用いたのである。 また後に莫逆（ばくぎゃく）の友となった小島成斎も、夙（はや）く市野の家で抽斎と同門の好（よしみ）を結んだことであろう。抽斎が迷庵門人となってから八年目、文化十四年に記念すべき事があった。松本市左衛門（いわしや総本店当主）- 16世紀より日本橋本町三丁目で代々薬種商を営む。
